First, a little history!
How it all began
I first saw a Pontiac Fiero when I did an internship with a company in Houston, TX in 1993. One of my coworkers had a black 1987 Fiero GT automatic and I fell in love (with the car). And I said to myself: If I ever come back to the US, I'll get one of these! And I did. When I was offered a job at that company after completing my studies in 1994, it took me five days to get my own Fiero!
I purchased it from the original owner in Louisiana with 40,000 miles approx. A ruby red/grey 1987 Fiero GT with all options excluding performance sound, leather, and sunroof.

Big and small moves
In June 1995 I moved from Houston to Detroit, MI to make my Fiero feel closer to home :-) When I moved back to Germany I took my beautiful car with me. On February 15, 1996 I had my Fiero wearing brand-new German license plates!

Developments 1999 - 2009
Between 1999 and 2003 my Fiero spent most of the time in storage in a barn at my parents' place due to work related international placements. The purchase of a BMW M Roadster in March 2000 also contributed to the Fiero being sidelined a little.
In Spring 2003 we moved back to Germany and there, in March 2003, the BMW was stolen in front of a movie theater while we were inside watching the movie! That sucks! Good thing was that now the Fiero was #1 again and I have since invested some serious time and money in upgrades (look here for proof!).
Back to the USA in 2009
History moves in circles and so in 2008 we went to live in the US again. The Fiero was stored in Germany for 1.5 years but then came the day when it would become the first Fiero to cross the Atlantic Ocean twice!
